KAGAMI at The Shed with Magic Leap: Augmented Reality at Its Best
KAGAMI, at The Shed in NYC is a beautiful example of what a Magic Leap experience can be. Produced by Tin Drum, it’s an hour-long piano concert recorded live in 2020, so it could be performed by Ryuichi Sakamoto’s hologram in 2023 and beyond. Kagami is the Japanese word for "mirror."
Assembly, Rashaad Newsome’s powerful immersive experience recently shown at the Park Avenue Armory, is a dramatic contrast with the Immersive Van Gogh event we attended last summer. Museums are looking at all types of possibilities.
Immersive Van Gogh is at Pier 36 in Manhattan. Michael and I were curious to have the experience since we design and develop immersive and other digital interactive experiences.
